Jon Oblak came out and tried to block the shot, but Wim Wilmes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Jon Oblak made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fu Han Qiang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon Oblak was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Gijsbert ter Kruimer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 31st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jon Oblak made a huge save. After some careless play in the Andarilhos defense, Wim Wilmes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon Oblak. The Andarilhos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon Oblak should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Andarilhos's Antony Bruno got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andarilhos's Jon Oblak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Jorge Ruas sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Andarilhos's Fu Han Qiang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. In the 89th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Jon Oblak. Andarilhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. In the 93rd minute, Lars Meesters made a precise shot to the right of Jon Oblak. Andarilhos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. There was no doubt that Netherlands were the better team. Netherlands's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
