In the 26th match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Andberg to maneuver through the defense. The FENERBAHÇE fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when FENERBAHÇE's Waga Netto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Elon-Reeve Muška showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the FENERBAHÇE defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elon-Reeve Muška. The FENERBAHÇE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elon-Reeve Muška should have stopped the shot. In the last second Fodor Daniel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Waga Netto in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Waga Netto in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fodor Daniel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 48th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. Lapurdi Jaramillo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waga Netto made a kick off. The supporters of Hungary booed when FENERBAHÇE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waga Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's Korkut Kırgız sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Waga Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elon-Reeve Muška could save by the left post. Ahmet Ege Kerimhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FENERBAHÇE made a substitution. Cankut Sezer replaced 巩帆竞. Elon-Reeve Muška stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Takacs Tibor's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. FENERBAHÇE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elon-Reeve Muška quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lapurdi Jaramillo in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when FENERBAHÇE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waga Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elon-Reeve Muška saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
