The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seth Young to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Cihan Kisačević took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Khalid Kennedy to make any attempt to save it. Seçkin Eroğul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seçkin Eroğul having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Micah Macdonald left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The England fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 21st minute of the match England got a corner. SOMINECO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Micah Macdonald ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute, Kyle Cox made a precise shot to the right of Seçkin Eroğul. SOMINECO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Seçkin Eroğul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, England's Khalid Kennedy got control of the ball when Mir Güzel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute Murathan Ensar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
