When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Ogășanu made a kick off. The supporters of Italy booed when Sydney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Mendy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 64th minute of the match. Sebastian Titz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Titz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. A collision led to Sydney FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ferdinand Mendy hit a great ball. At last the ball reached Deodato Magliozzi at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Sydney FC. 6-0. 91 minutes into the match, Sydney FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Sebastian Titz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. There was no doubt that Italy were the better team. Italy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
