Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel Ogășanu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Marke in the 4th minute of play. Sebastian Titz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guy Rothe in the 10th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Titz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Sydney FC's Sebastian Titz got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Guy Rothe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Titz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Guy Rothe came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. Angelo Milanese received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Flavio Vittori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Milanese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Angelo Milanese got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Ludwig Hanstein tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Adriano Curto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sebastian Titz quite easily take care of the ball. The Italy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sydney FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Sydney FC.
