In the 7th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Fenwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Carballeira took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Donald Fenwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Vinicio Carballeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Vinicio Carballeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Vinicio Carballeira sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. If Vinicio Carballeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Carballeira in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Memphis Grizzlies were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ronny Theobold took the corner. Ronny Theobold made a great header on Memphis Grizzlies's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Grant Andrews got a free kick in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Donald Fenwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute Memphis Grizzlies were awarded a corner. Ronny Theobold went to the cornerflag to take it. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Donald Fenwick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Joachim Garate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 45th minute of play forced Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Donald Fenwick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Joachim Garate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters rose to their feet, but Joachim Garate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Memphis Grizzlies's Donald Fenwick proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Memphis Grizzlies from getting a goal against them. Antal Valentin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Donald Fenwick skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 55 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Donald Fenwick. 59 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donald Fenwick, 2-2. 61 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fodor Daniel had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Vinicio Carballeira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Vinicio Carballeira took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Memphis Grizzlies's Nicky Sansom was substituted for Grant Andrews. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Stuart Banks replaced Vinicio Carballeira. Donald Fenwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Stuart Banks made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Major Barnas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Donald Fenwick to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stuart Banks's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Ty Hislop was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Memphis Grizzlies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. The supporters of Hungary booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ty Hislop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ty Hislop recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
