The supporters of Hungary booed when Ñacuñán AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Colin Probert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Astor Guib could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Fodor Daniel however easily saved by the left post. Pedro Mercurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Ñacuñán AC's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Pedro Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astor Guib. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Balazs Lajos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Mercurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Guib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ñacuñán AC made a substitution. Santos Cayo replaced Luis Bartoleme. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Ekain made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Santos Cayo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 53 minutes, Santos Cayo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Hungary booed when Ñacuñán AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 played minutes Ñacuñán AC got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Oinaz. After a rather tough play, Ñacuñán AC's Santos Cayo got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 68th match minute, Ñacuñán AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Cayo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ñacuñán AC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Santos Cayo hit a great ball. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ñacuñán AC were victorious despite being under pressure from Hungary for much of the match.
