Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Toledo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck King Junior prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionică Lucescu in the 15th minute of the match. Aristides Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Paiva in the 29th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kobra TEAM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Liviu Cristocea in the 31st minute. Kobra TEAM were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Liviu Cristocea took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Liviu Cristocea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Ascaso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Toledo scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of King Junior, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ionică Lucescu to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Lucescu came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Toledo got free with King Junior in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Amauri Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kobra TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Amauri Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. Kobra TEAM's Danny King was substituted for Aristides Paiva. King Junior made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pau Herrero in the 91st minute. If Carles Cherro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Spain failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
