Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmo Saldanha having to make a save. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Leonardo Guerra took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Dalmo Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dalmo Saldanha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. With a little luck, Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elano Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Netherlands players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Jovens Democratas MZC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
