Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 13 minutes into the game, Øyvind Skoglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Radowit Ogrodowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Grivata's supporters rose to their feet, but Radowit Ogrodowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Grivata's goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Germany were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after FC Grivata's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. In the 22nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Schwerner to maneuver through the defense. After 24 minutes of play, FC Grivata's Eero Grönholm made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Radowit Ogrodowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes FC Grivata got a freekick which was hit by Patryk Janiczek. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radowit Ogrodowicz to make the kick off. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eero Grönholm in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of FC Grivata booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radowit Ogrodowicz struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Grivata. Thomas Sørensen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Thomas Sørensen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 65th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, FC Grivata's Eero Grönholm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 73rd minute, Ulrich Stein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rayko Tzonkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Grivata's Thomas Sørensen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save FC Grivata from getting a goal against them. Albin Holweck scored 6-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Sørensen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Øyvind Skoglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Grivata's goalkeeper Thomas Sørensen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
