Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sandro Galishoff started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Aurel Șeimeanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabio Auer firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Venezia FC booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Waismann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Bornescu to maneuver through the defense. Sever Amânaloae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Galishoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ivan Gănescu's late challenge caught a Austria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Gănescu helped the player get up and apologised. Sandro Galishoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Amânaloae having to interfere. Ivan Gănescu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Sever Amânaloae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Nalder in the 28th minute of play. Austria's Fabio Auer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Austria from getting a goal against them. Sever Amânaloae came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Austria's Marvin Harrer. But to his dismay, Marvin Harrer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Fabio Schneider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandro Galishoff scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sever Amânaloae, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When Mihăiţă Mailat came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Venezia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihăiţă Mailat couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezia FC's zone, Fabio Schneider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sever Amânaloae came out of the goal and Fabio Schneider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandro Galishoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sever Amânaloae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Mailat in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes, Cătălin Săraru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezia FC and the Austria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cătălin Săraru to maneuver through the defense. Marc Kronecker hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Venezia FC's Sever Amânaloae proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Venezia FC from getting a goal against them. Venezia FC's Mihăiţă Mailat got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nico Waismann charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nico Waismann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nico Waismann hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Mihăiţă Mailat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aurel Șeimeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of Austria echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Venezia FC had held the ball for most of the match.
