Khalid Kennedy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 88th minute Isaac Eleder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 95 minutes on the clock, Alf Bergström commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. For all the effort they put into the match, the England players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La vecchia signora.
