The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Bjarne Kirkegaard a yellow card for diving instead. Bjarne Kirkegaard kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dominguez Codony's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Eleder in the 81st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Isaac Eleder sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominguez Codony went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score.
