Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piotr Furgal in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piotr Furgal got free with Keld Paulsen in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Perico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remigio Palbans short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Keld Paulsen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lucio Perico was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 16th minute, Lucio Perico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Caitano hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Prudencio Ellande hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Denmark! The goalkeeper, Keld Paulsen, was totally fooled by Muñeco FC's Piotr Furgal, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Piotr Furgal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Patxi charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Patxi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Muñeco FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Patxi. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Bertram Svenningsen made the kick off in the second half. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Furgal in the 52nd minute of play. Teodoro Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Lucio Perico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muñeco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Perico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piotr Furgal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Muñeco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Steen came free, but Tyrone Summerfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Medina might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keld Paulsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodoro Medina ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Hugo Caitano in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Furgal in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Muñeco FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Denmark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
