Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marlon Key having to interfere. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Weir in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Staffy Terrier FC booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kvetoslav Janku didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Staffy Terrier FC's Pedro Warnett got a free kick in the 10th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Denis Dostal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Staffy Terrier FC's Marlon Key. Marlon Key was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blair Buckle hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Warnett in the 28th minute. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Walters in the 31st minute of play. Czech Republic's Erik Jilek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marlon Key in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marlon Key showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 43rd minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Turecek. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Erik Jilek made the kick off in the second half. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paddy Shackleton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 played minutes Staffy Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Robert Turnbull. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Weir in the 62nd minute of the match. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marlon Key having to interfere. Valdemar Turecek kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Walters in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Alan Rezek got a free kick in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Rupert Walters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Rupert Walters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marlon Key made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Jilek in the 84th minute. A collision led to Staffy Terrier FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Paddy Shackleton hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Czech Republic:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Staffy Terrier FC:s goal. 96 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Marlon Key had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Jilek. Despite being the better team, Staffy Terrier FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
