Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Yuan Chao in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 6th minute of play forced LVCVS AVGVSTI's goalkeeper Rosario Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. Rosario Escarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 20th minute of the match. Rosario Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 24th minute of play. When Anatolio Lozano came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the LVCVS AVGVSTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anatolio Lozano couldn't finish the play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Du Yuan Chao dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ronny Skytt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takacs Tibor to maneuver through the defense. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Yuan Chao in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosario Escarza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Quirce Salan was substituted for Ronny Skytt. Du Yuan Chao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Chano in the 76th minute of play. Antal Valentin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Chano came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Rosario Escarza got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rosario Escarza. That made the score 2-2 in the 83 minute of play. If Quirce Salan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Du Yuan Chao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baldomero Chano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Venancio Olayo was slow to take the kick. During this time LVCVS AVGVSTI's players had a chance to rest. Hungary were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
