With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haldun Gürdal in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. After a rather tough play, ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's Hakkı Sezgen got a free kick in the 5th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haldun Gürdal in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when İstemihan Akcebe got free with Tommy Kahn in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germany:s Tommy Kahn showed great skill when he stopped Duran Vefakar:s penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Haldun Gürdal managed to get in a good position for a shot. ᗩᔕᒪᗩᑎғᴋ's supporters rose to their feet, but Haldun Gürdal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haldun Gürdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Haldun Gürdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off.
