An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 14th minute of play forced Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Marlon Key to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Issac Dawson had to leave the field with a concussion. When Peter Steadman fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Staffy Terrier FC's protests and gave Peter Steadman a yellow card for diving instead. England's Ewan Lewis was substituted for Issac Dawson. Staffy Terrier FC's Marlon Key played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 21st minute of play forced Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Marlon Key to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Staffy Terrier FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marlon Key should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kyle Cox made a kick off. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paddy Shackleton in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, England's Micah Macdonald ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marlon Key. Marlon Key yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. After having played for 74 minutes, Ewan Lewis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ewan Lewis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Rupert Walters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Staffy Terrier FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Weir. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paddy Shackleton in the 84th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Staffy Terrier FC's goalkeeper Marlon Key had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Micah Macdonald. Marlon Key made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caelan Hayes in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Weir in the 96th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. England played a much better game than Staffy Terrier FC and deserved their victory. The Staffy Terrier FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
