Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which 崔风常 however easily saved by the left post. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 毛森夕 in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, ☆战国☆『神兵ㄨ金箍棒』燕云十八铁骑卫※燕王※'s goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but 崔风常 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. 崔风常 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, 崔风常 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustaaf Groeneveldts short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got 崔风常 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 崔风常 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 崔风常 having to interfere. 崔风常 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of play. 孔政旭 took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Wim Wilmes hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 崔风常 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 崔风常 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 54th minute of play. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. 崔风常 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that Netherlands were the better team. Netherlands's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
