Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with the kick off. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Trigo in the 7th minute. After 9 minutes Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jessica Xerifão who took care of the corner kick. In the 10th minute, Zé Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 12 played minutes Sumaré Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Xu Sha Quan. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sumaré Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Sumaré Sport Club's Zé Trigo. But to his dismay, Zé Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Richard Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Floris Claeys made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sumaré Sport Club's Xu Sha Quan. In the 26th minute, Laurens Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Sumaré Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Richard Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Richard Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Sumaré Sport Club's Olívio Matos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casper Claes. Casper Claes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The throw-in from Xu Sha Quan in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Belgium's Lenny Clocheret. Sumaré Sport Club's Richard Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 38th minute of play. Sebastian Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Xu Sha Quan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Belgium's Floris Claeys quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Belgium's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 46th minute. In the 47th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfred Chmelyk was the one to do the kick off. Edward Vanderstraetens short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Richard Fontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Chmelyk in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. In the 59th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 67 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Richard Fontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Trigo came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Trigo in the 77th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Fontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute of the match, Yves Dervaux got a very nice opportunity to score, but Richard Fontes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Chmelyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Richard Fontes in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
