Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihkel Aksalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Hernández in the 30th minute of play. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dep. Moron's Mihkel Aksalu did a great save. Mihkel Aksalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 35th minute. Mihkel Aksalu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Dep. Moron's Mihkel Aksalu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Dulgherescu in the 43rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Dulgherescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Mihkel Aksalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihkel Aksalu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Mihkel Aksalu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
