Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, La vecchia signora's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind La vecchia signora's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomas Ravelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Överman, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The Denmark fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Denmark's Chris Nygaard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 19 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Olav Graversen. When La vecchia signora's Dominguez Codony in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominguez Codony in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Dahlqvist came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albin Wallman got a throw-in 29 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sune Överman. When Dominguez Codony fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La vecchia signora's protests and gave Dominguez Codony a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, La vecchia signora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominguez Codony to maneuver through the defense. Sune Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominguez Codony in the 38th minute of play. Sune Överman struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La vecchia signora. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Dominguez Codony kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Överman came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Dahlqvist to make the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by La vecchia signora's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. Thomas Ravelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Oskar Johansson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominguez Codony got free with Keld Paulsen in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Denmark's Chris Nygaard in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La vecchia signora's goalie prevented a goal. La vecchia signora made a substitution. Isaac Eleder replaced Tomas Dahlqvist. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Ravelli came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Chris Nygaard. But to his dismay, Chris Nygaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 83rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Ravelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes La vecchia signora's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Nygaard who took care of the corner kick. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thomas Ravelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 93rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Thomas Ravelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denmark were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of La vecchia signora for a fine match.
