Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) SE7EN's Otto Spets started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes SE7EN got a freekick which was hit by Sten Abrahamsson. Lars Steen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Erik Fransson. SE7EN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chris Nygaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Erik Fransson having to make a save. Sven-Erik Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE7EN's Sven-Erik Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven-Erik Fransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Isto Leppiniemi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 21st minute, but Keld Paulsen got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Denmark hanging dry this time. 23 minutes into the match, SE7EN's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Sven-Erik Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erling Åkerman charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erling Åkerman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Erling Åkerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE7EN's Sven-Erik Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Erik Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isto Leppiniemi. In the 33rd minute, Oskar Grep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Otto Spets tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Fransson having to interfere.
In the 53rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjarne Kirkegaard to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Isto Leppiniemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Isto Leppiniemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Chris Nygaard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Erik Fransson was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Theis Winther charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Theis Winther the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Keld Paulsen went to the wrong direction when Otto Spets was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Sven-Erik Fransson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The supporters of Denmark booed when SE7EN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Alströmmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven-Erik Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 72nd minute of play. In the 81st minute, Nereo Errapel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 90 minutes into the game, Joakim Alströmmer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Olav Graversen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Lars Steen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, SE7EN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Grep to maneuver through the defense. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Sven-Erik Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Denmark's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Denmark may have spent more time on the ball, but SE7EN were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
