Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Serrizuela in the 9th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepo De Simone in the 11th minute of play. Jacinto Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Serrizuela in the 15th minute of the match. Patricio Pagomari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepo De Simone in the 29th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luis Gumaro was slow to take the kick. During this time Olds School Pepo's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Prudencio Mendebal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Nicholas having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Chants of Olds School Pepo echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Hungary had held the ball for most of the match.
