Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20th minute, Epifanio Beremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Epifanio Beremundo made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 26 played minutes Alvoha FC got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Fernandez. With a little luck, Alvoha FC's Rosendo Eufrasio got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Rodrigo Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Janik Vogt's late challenge caught a Alvoha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
