In the 23rd minute, Zakariás Lányi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a Los Irrompibles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. After 63 played minutes Los Irrompibles got a freekick which was hit by Arin Gevorkyan. After having played for 64 minutes Adrian Dreifuss got an excellent opportunity and fired away a shot on goal, but Fabricio Lawrence was perfectly placed and executed a great save. After having played for 74 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Los Irrompibles's Gustavo Heriberto in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
