Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. In the 20thth minute of the game Sigfrido Auletta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Bonin's Wawrzyniec Dzierwa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With his leg Flavio Vittori managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when FC Bonin's Maciej Wojtkiewicz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of play forced FC Bonin's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Dzierwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wasyl Harasimowicz in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute of the match FC Bonin got a corner. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bonin's zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maciej Wojtkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Bonin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Wawrzyniec Dzierwa, was totally fooled by Italy's Sigfrido Auletta, who 52 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 56th minute of the match. FC Bonin's Wawrzyniec Dzierwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigfrido Auletta got free with Wawrzyniec Dzierwa in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Porziano Marchitelli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 72nd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wawrzyniec Dzierwa, 0-3. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. In the 86th minute Adriano Curto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Harasimowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Curto's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 91st of the match, Adriano Curto tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa got in the way and made a wonderful save. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wawrzyniec Dzierwa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Adriano Curto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Wojtkiewicz in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Italy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
