Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Gáspár Nyilasi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Retorno de Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. After 2 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Gáspár Nyilasi. In the 4th minute of the match, Zygmunt Malik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 5th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytek Samin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Retorno de Palermo's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aytek Samin came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikus Linkūns in the 17th minute. After 25 minutes of play, El Retorno de Palermo's Mikus Linkūns made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytek Samin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Mikus Linkūns tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by El Retorno de Palermo's Aldo Fernanco. But to his dismay, Aldo Fernanco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Malik in the 42nd minute of play. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Aytek Samin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Fernanco to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Zygmunt Malik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldo Fernanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as David Eikelkamp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aytek Samin. That made the score 4-1 in the 68 minute of play. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Aytek Samin made a huge save. Mikus Linkūns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytek Samin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Aytek Samin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aytek Samin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wim Wilmes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 94 minute of play. The El Retorno de Palermo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
