Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edward Vanderstraeten took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenny Clocheret in the 13th minute of play. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Maritek FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. In the 15th minute, Simon Sabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferruccio Zarillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Zarillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. The supporters of Maritek FC booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurens Vandamme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Andrea Mariani sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Nigel Devos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hélio O'Connell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Santo got free with Casper Claes in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Santo in the 33rd minute of play. Ferruccio Zarillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 37 in the game by Felice Tacco from a close distance when the talented Casper Claes managed to make a qualified save. Belgium's players were relieved. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Maritek FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Yves Dervaux managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Lenny Clocheret hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.
