Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gabriel Fabelo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2ndth minute of the game Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Péter Mészáros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Csabagyöngye's Gabriel Fabelo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Péter Mészáros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 44th minute of play. Péter Mészáros came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Csabagyöngye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rich Durbridge to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from János Kovács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from János Kovács in the 56th minute of play. Péter Mészáros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Eikelkamp in the 60th minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Dömötör, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With a little luck, Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Csabagyöngye's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 71st minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Péter Mészáros. The goal made the score 1-2. Róbert Dömötör sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute János Kovács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Rich Durbridge came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Péter Mészáros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 95thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Péter Mészáros would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
