Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Fabelo in the 3rd minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Péter Mészáros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Csabagyöngye's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Péter Mészáros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Péter Mészáros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Gergely Dobi came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match, Gabriel Fabelo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Casper Claes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Péter Mészáros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 29th minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Péter Mészáros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Péter Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 39th minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Róbert Dömötör came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Csabagyöngye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Dömötör couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 51st minute of play forced Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten spun around in front of the goal 52 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Csabagyöngye's goal. Róbert Dömötör sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Péter Mészáros firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Csabagyöngye's Péter Mészáros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Csabagyöngye from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Csabagyöngye's goalkeeper Péter Mészáros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. Gabriel Fabelo scored 1-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Péter Mészáros came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 82 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Péter Mészáros managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rich Durbridge's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rich Durbridge helped the player get up and apologised. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
