The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Erik Lundin got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Max Ahlroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Max Ahlroth could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Vavrinec Holub however easily saved by the left post. Vavrinec Holub was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Nils-Åke Holmberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nils-Åke Holmberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 19 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Vitek. In the 20th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumir Kohout to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Bohumir Kohout put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Czech Republic:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Team North Invest:s goal. Oliver Myr walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Czech Republic's Alan Rezek got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Jens-Erik Lundin sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Gallin scored 2-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Gallin in the 97th minute of play.
