Germany made a substitution. Valentin Lindner replaced Sven Krakouer. A collision led to Black Devils getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Reynaldo Vinhas hit a great ball. Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20thth minute of the game Reynaldo Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The supporters of Germany booed when Black Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Vinhas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Black Devils's Reynaldo Vinhas got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro-Ramón Calderón De La Barca having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Reynaldo Vinhas made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
