Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar de Moraes in the 32nd minute of play. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Nazario Serre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Christian Baiano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Christian Baiano put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Cristian Velloso got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Valdemar de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Baiano in the 93rd minute of play.
