Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) LVCVS AVGVSTI's Du Yuan Chao started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Rosario Escarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Chano in the 5th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosario Escarza came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosario Escarza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rosario Escarza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Sabbe in the 19th minute of the match. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosario Escarza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Du Yuan Chao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Du Yuan Chao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the game, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosario Escarza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 40 minutes, Ronny Skytt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LVCVS AVGVSTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Skytt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Simon Sabbe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rosario Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 44th minute of play. Sander Dermaut charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sander Dermaut the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Sander Dermaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Edward Vanderstraeten made the kick off in the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Rosario Escarza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosario Escarza. Rosario Escarza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Edward Vanderstraeten came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rosario Escarza could save by the left post. In the 62ndth minute of the game Du Yuan Chao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nigel Devos hit a great ball. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Dominic Toretto was substituted for Aníbal Ríos. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Quirce Salan was substituted for Ronny Skytt. In the 68th minute, Nigel Devos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes, LVCVS AVGVSTI's Anatolio Lozano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casper Claes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LVCVS AVGVSTI reached it. LVCVS AVGVSTI's Rosario Escarza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save LVCVS AVGVSTI from getting a goal against them. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Rosario Escarza made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Laurens Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quirce Salan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. Yves Dervaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rosario Escarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Yuan Chao, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Belgium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belgium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
