The ball had pretty good speed, but Cosimo Mascia firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 28 minutes LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 32 in the game by Felipe Barreto from a close distance when the talented Cosimo Mascia managed to make a qualified save. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's players were relieved. Cosimo Mascia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 41st minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milan Froněk, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Cosimo Mascia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Nelson Rufino in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Cosimo Mascia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Noureddine Sanchis made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 60 minutes into the game, LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Noureddine Sanchis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Noureddine Sanchis got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. The supporters of LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosimo Mascia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipinho Amorim went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Felipinho Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosimo Mascia was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
