Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Kolanijo's Lucian Dărăscu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 7th minute of play forced FC Kolanijo's goalkeeper Roman Pietrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaccheo Andolina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Pietrasz having to make a save. Lucian Dărăscu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Vittori read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Roman Pietrasz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Kazimierz Wierzchowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucian Dărăscu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Vittori came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucian Dărăscu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 80th minute. Italy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
