Porziano Marchitelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Fontana having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the match Puianello FC got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Camillo Caiola ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Puianello FC's corner Camillo Caiola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Vittori quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Puianello FC's Göksel Taşdan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Vittori. That made the score 1-1 after 38 minutes of play. Puianello FC's Antonello De Feo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gianpaolo Mascari in the 40 minute of the game. The Puianello FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Göksel Taşdan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puianello FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Göksel Taşdan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Vittori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigfrido Auletta got free with Armando Fontana in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Puianello FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Angelo Esposito hit a great ball. Sigfrido Auletta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Armando Fontana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Italy's Sigfrido Auletta in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Puianello FC's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Puianello FC's goalkeeper Armando Fontana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Armando Fontana made a huge save. Puianello FC's Amedeo Di Lullo was substituted for Carlo Mazzone. 75 minutes in the game Marcell Jacobs did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Francesco Coscia. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Caiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Göksel Taşdan came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Di Lullo came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseo Cutri made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that Puianello FC's Armando Fontana managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Curto in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Fontana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute Adriano Curto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Fontana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
