Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs made the kick off and thus started the match. Patrik Heggert took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 7th play minute Tage Rudqvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Kahn. 2-0. Huvudstaden's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patrik Heggert in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peder Sarstedt. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peder Sarstedt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 13 minute of play. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Patrik Heggert came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Huvudstaden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Heggert couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peder Sarstedt got free with Tommy Kahn in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Huvudstaden's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Bengt Apelquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peder Sarstedt in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Patrik Heggert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Patrik Heggert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Tage Rudqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Peder Sarstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huvudstaden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Bengt Apelquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Heggert came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Bengt Apelquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. When Malte Schiele fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Malte Schiele a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Peder Sarstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Jonasson in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Patrik Heggert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Huvudstaden made a substitution. Arvid Olsson replaced Kent Jonasson. In the 74th minute, Peder Sarstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peder Sarstedt in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81st play minutes Peder Sarstedt shot 8-1, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Heggert came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Sarstedt in the 95th minute of play.
