The supporters of Hungary booed when Liden FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Hungary's Sven-Ove Eliasson threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Takacs Tibor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
