When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Robbin van Persie sped through Croatia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Pacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 14 played minutes TeamSystem got a freekick which was hit by Zeki Engintalay. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Omar Pacho put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ilija Skugor. The audience was convinced that Robbin van Persie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilija Skugor was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbin van Persie in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilija Skugor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arda Göksel Usalan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Robbin van Persie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Damir Pongrac. 31 minutes into the game, TeamSystem's Robbin van Persie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Robbin van Persie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. Robbin van Persie scored 0-7 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Robbin van Persie put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Ilija Skugor. When Robbin van Persie came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the TeamSystem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbin van Persie couldn't finish the play. Ilija Skugor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbin van Persie's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After 48 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Domazet. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ege Ömürcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Croatia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. TeamSystem were winning 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toni Mauzer made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Robbin van Persie came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute of the match TeamSystem got a corner. Croatia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ege Ömürcan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 55th match minute, TeamSystem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbin van Persie to maneuver through the defense. Robbin van Persie in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ilija Skugor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. TeamSystem's Gencal Okay got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Robbin van Persie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilija Skugor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Silvije Santek got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, TeamSystem's Robbin van Persie dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbin van Persie in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilija Skugor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The TeamSystem fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when TeamSystem's Robbin van Persie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Robbin van Persie took a quick shot and it went in 0-13 without a chance for Ilija Skugor to make any attempt to save it. TeamSystem's Gökay Ongay was substituted for Omar Pacho. In the 83rd minute, Robbin van Persie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TeamSystem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. Robbin van Persie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Ilija Skugor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Robbin van Persie took a quick shot and it went in 0-15 without a chance for Ilija Skugor to make any attempt to save it. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by TeamSystem's Gökay Ongay. But to his dismay, Gökay Ongay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16.
