Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eder Lopes started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eder Lopes. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Eder Lopes sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Bladi came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Bladi in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Herbert Bastide got a free kick in the 10th minute. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eder Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sabadim Harammes PRD's Mauro Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siricio Liotta in the 17th minute of play. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Eder Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Eder Lopes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabadim Harammes PRD's Mauro Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauro Cunha saved Sabadim Harammes PRD from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Castelo Branco in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Italy were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Sabadim Harammes PRD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. After 66 minutes Sabadim Harammes PRD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 72 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Sabadim Harammes PRD's Ionel Bălăiță. But to his dismay, Ionel Bălăiță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Bladi in the 94th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
