After a rather tough play, Underdogs's Lasse Penttilä got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 5th minute of play forced Underdogs's goalkeeper Brak Gola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolis Arvanitoyannis came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrzej Budzyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Faustino Almeida to score against Brak Gola in Underdogs's goal. 1-2 after 21 minutes. In the 27th minute Apostolis Arvanitoyannis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kacper Mentus. The supporters of Underdogs booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viriato Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

51 minutes into the match, Apostolis Arvanitoyannis notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apostolis Arvanitoyannis in the 55th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Walery Marud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Underdogs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud van Nistelrooij in the 73rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Mentus came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Felipinho Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Kacper Mentus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kacper Mentus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. Brak Gola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Felipinho Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Kacper Mentus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Underdogs had played much better football throughout.
