Zelipe Nebot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cordeara Igay in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cordeara Igay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Cordeara Igay kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Deportivo Galicia's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Elequemedo Villafañe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Olav Graversen fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Olav Graversen a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Olav Graversen got a free kick in the 46th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cordeara Igay to make the kick off. Keld Paulsen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zelipe Nebot. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. Deportivo Galicia made a substitution. Paskal Iturcha replaced Cordeara Igay. The supporters of Deportivo Galicia booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Galicia's Zelipe Nebot shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Keld Paulsen but with some difficulty. After some careless play in the Deportivo Galicia defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elequemedo Villafañe. The Deportivo Galicia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elequemedo Villafañe should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Bertram Svenningsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elequemedo Villafañe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 81st minute of play forced Deportivo Galicia's goalkeeper Elequemedo Villafañe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paskal Iturcha in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Lars Steen got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
