Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. Caetano Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 9th minute Henry Fagerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 11th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Tunström in the 14th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Tunström, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rönnöfors FF's Henry Fagerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Henry Fagerberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rönnöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Fagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute, Viriato Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magne Gunnarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Felipe Barreto scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magne Gunnarsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rönnöfors FF's Olimpiu Mirciulescu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabricio Andrade, made in the 39th minute of the game. After 43 played minutes Rönnöfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Hellgren. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per Tunström was the one to do the kick off. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Per Tunström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rönnöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 62nd minute, Per Tunström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Tunström in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Portugal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Per Stenberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Per Tunström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Rönnöfors FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 79 minutes, Sten Hökqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rönnöfors FF and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Tunström in the 87th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Gunnarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolomeu Dias in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magne Gunnarsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Tunström, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The throw-in from Per Tunström in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. The Portugal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rönnöfors FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Rönnöfors FF.
