The Étoile du Sud fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sabri Bony should have stopped the shot. After 12 minutes of play Étoile du Sud's Ramzy Fily was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After having played for 15 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sabri Bony showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of the match. Martien Zwart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabri Bony made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 53rd minute. Sabri Bony made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sabri Bony firmly grabbed it by the left post. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Sabri Bony made a huge save. Antal Valentin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Sabri Bony when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
