Oséias Palmeira took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Brown. Charles Brown dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 18 played minutes Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Scott Garcia. Oséias Palmeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Brown read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Borussia Dortmund MZB were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Trinidad & Tobago's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luis Blasi took the corner. Luis Blasi made a great header on Borussia Dortmund MZB's corner, it was just that Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown managed to reach the ball for a save. Jiang Chao Di made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winifred Alleyne in the 24th minute of play. Bunji Jagdeosingh hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jiang Chao Di showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominic Ramjohn in the 28th minute of the match. Borussia Dortmund MZB's Jiang Chao Di played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lester Hamel-Smith in the 29th minute of play. Jiang Chao Di had great luck who in the 29thth minute grab hold of the ball when Lester Hamel-Smith from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 31stth minute of the game Oséias Palmeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Scott Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Oséias Palmeira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Brown narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Hever took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Brown. Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Jiang Chao Di got control of the ball when Shurwayne Bradley tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Trinidad & Tobago players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Borussia Dortmund MZB were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Winifred Alleyne was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Oséias Palmeira notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown. Charles Brown was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Winifred Alleyne struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jiang Chao Di didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinidad & Tobago. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséias Palmeira in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Brown prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 minutes, Oséias Palmeira made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Borussia Dortmund MZB made a substitution. Gernando Pernambucano replaced Oséias Palmeira. Borussia Dortmund MZB's LeBron Naldo was substituted for Luís Fabiano Leão. Charles Brown showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Pernambucano in the 73rd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Scott Garcia. Bunji Jagdeosingh made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dominic Ramjohn immediately put the ball in play. After 83 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund MZB's Gernando Pernambucano made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Brown was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, Gernando Pernambucano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Dortmund MZB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Jiang Chao Di made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winifred Alleyne in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Gernando Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Brown was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Trinidad & Tobago's Charles Brown proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Trinidad & Tobago from getting a goal against them. If LeBron Naldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Borussia Dortmund MZB supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borussia Dortmund MZB would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
