Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Văduvescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marian Văduvescu. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Constantin Deșliu got a free kick in the 15th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Marian Văduvescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Eliseo Cutri got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-3. 53 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Marian Văduvescu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Barbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marian Văduvescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zaccheo Andolina did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Marian Văduvescu 61 minutes into the match. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Văduvescu. Marian Văduvescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Sigfrido Auletta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zaccheo Andolinas short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Marian Văduvescu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 77 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina lined in a short shot 2-6 behind a frustrated Marian Văduvescu. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Dunajski, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Marian Văduvescu in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Zena Busacca hit a great ball.
