Maximino Hitz came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Sten Vallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Björn-Torben Kappel's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn-Torben Kappel helped the player get up and apologised. Maximino Hitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Hitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Astor Evis charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astor Evis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of NECKER49:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. In the 44th minute, Benjamin Fernado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NECKER49 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 47th minute of the match, Oriano Junco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arnout Reekers saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after NECKER49's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maximino Hitz quite easily take care of the ball. 55 minutes in the game, Lars Meesters dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 56th match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Arias to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Hitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Maximino Hitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NECKER49 made a substitution. Valentin Policarpio replaced Benjamin Fernado. In the 68thth minute of the game Rene Baumer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars Meesters was extremely unlucky when he, in the 77th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Fagondo in the 83rd minute of play. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Astor Evis. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
