Major Barnas short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Péter Temesvári to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mátyás Szepesvári during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Szittyák SE rege getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mátyás Szepesvári hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Péter Temesvári. Antal Valentin scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Péter Temesvári, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Péter Temesvári. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Szittyák SE rege's Miklós Sebestyén got a free kick in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Szittyák SE rege's Péter Temesvári got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hungary's Szekeres Tamas suffered a concussion in the 39th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Mátyás Szepesvári was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 41st minute, Mátyás Szepesvári hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Péter Temesvári, 3-0. 46 minutes into the match, Szittyák SE rege's goalkeeper Péter Temesvári had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Major Barna scored 4-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Péter Temesvári, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 55 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Péter Temesvári narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Péter Temesvári showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Péter Temesvári was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 73 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antal Valentin took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Péter Temesvári. Péter Temesvári dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 77 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Péter Temesvári narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Péter Temesvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 79th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Hegedus Henrik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Péter Temesvári breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Antal Valentin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Péter Temesvári was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szittyák SE rege's goalie prevented a goal. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Péter Temesvári didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. If Kornél Udvarhelyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hungary's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
